Certified-organic and naturally-raised meats and poultry; prime beef, aged and non-aged. Beef comes from Virginia farms, including Canon Hill in Harrisonburg, Whitewood Farm in The Plains and Featherbed Angus Farm in Middleburg. Owner Don Roden.

My girlfriend and I have a standing plan to visit the Organic Butcher every Sunday afternoon. It's partly to stock up on our protein supply for the week, but mainly to see Nick & Cheryl. We're always interested to see what sort of exciting concoctions they've put together... marinades, cuts, seasonings, etc... and to share cooking tips (we're more in the receiving end of those than the giving, but still). :)

Anyway, they're awesome, and we look forward to our trip up to McLean every week. Keep up the good work!
