Awesome deal. Had to wait a day for my order, so call ahead. Well worth the wait however. Received a free black insulated carrying tote with the organic butcher logo printed in white on it. Everything was fresh. Steaks were ten times better then whole foods dry aged selections. You cant even get hanger steak at whole foods. Followed a simple mustard marinade they use at mustards grill in napa for the hangers, and they came out so tender, so succulent, so flavorful, so decadent that they are now my new favorite peice of beef. The ground beef alone lasted 2 weeks with which we made meatballs to go with our carbonara, hamburgers, and ragu for our lasagna bolognese. Pork chops were best Ive ever eaten (used a lime garlic marinade from allrecipes.com). Ribs were excellent as well (rubbed, slow smoked, then mopped with tangy bbq sauce).
Only complaint is that there was a green herb looking thing that somehow got stuck on one of my ribeyes when they sealed it in plastic. It smelled funny, I just took it off and
washed the steak. It was still delicious!
